Environmental degradation refers to the gradual destruction of the natural state of the environment through the activities of man, animal and nature, which leads to the inability of the environment to support man, plant and animal life. 


There are basically, three (3) main agents responsible for environmental degradation.  These agents are:

2. Animal

3. Nature

11. Human settlement

12. Overgrazing

13. Bush fires
